Post Anesthesia Care Unit/Recovery Room (PACU/RR)

It's time to get on the road! We're searching for Post Anesthesia Care Unit Travel Nurses to fill immediate openings at a large hospital with 318 beds in Providence, RI. If this sounds great to you, and you have at least 2 years of experience in the PACU, keep reading and we'll make sure you get all the details.

- What will I do? This is where patients go to recover after surgery. These patients are at their highest risk for complications during the recovery stage (heart attack, bleeding) and a major focus is on pain control during the first hour in recovery. Patients typically stay in the recovery room for 1-4 hours until they are stable enough to be discharge home or to an inpatient unit.

- What are the benefits? Weekly take-home pay between $1650 and $1700, including per diems-top-tier benefits that help you focus on taking care of your patients and know you're being taken care of, too.

- Where? Providence, RI, where you can expect a quaint living experience, and enjoy the benefits of being in New England with beautiful beaches during the summer and into fall!

- What else do I need to know? The right PACU Travel Nurse will hold a current/active license as a registered nurse in addition to at least two years of PACU experience. You may also require BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and other unit-specific core certifications.
