Randstad Healthcare President Named to ASA Healthcare Policy Council
Boston, February 13, 2012—Cynthia Kinnas, president of the national healthcare division at ClinicalOne, soon to be Randstad Healthcare, was recently appointed vice chairman of the American Staffing Association’s health care section policy council. ASA policy councils are composed of member volunteers who advise the association’s board of directors on sector-specific issues and design programs to meet the unique business challenges faced by those sectors of the staffing industry.
Kinnas, who has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, oversees Clinical One’s National Healthcare Division, which matches high quality travel, short-term contract, case management, and permanent placement candidates to healthcare facilities around the country. Highly regarded within the industry, her comments and insight are regularly sought out by national healthcare publications and business associations. Kinnas is also a founding member of the National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations (NATHO).
Kinnas states, “It is an honor to be appointed vice chairman of the American Staffing Association’s health care section policy council. With the healthcare industry predicted to generate more than 3.2 million jobs between 2008-2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it is crucial not only discuss the issues and challenges facing one of the largest and fastest growing sectors, but also develop programs around them in order to meet the needs of this evolving field.”
